Emmanuel College

Transport Information
We will be using the Emmanuel College Busses for older children and the Young Discoverers Mini Busses, if available, for children on booster seats (under 7 years).
Children under 7 years may be placed on an Emmanuel Bus without a Booster seat if the Young Discoverers Busses are not available (Movie Days will often not be able to use the YD Busses due to scheduling clash with state school ASC).
We cater for 20 children under 7 years and 40 children over 7 years on each trip, totalling no more than 60 children.
Our excursion Ratio is 1:8, if we have 60 children we will have 8 Educators.

Young Discoverers mini busses: 11 passengers, 10 booster seats each (YD Driver and supervisor on each Bus) Max 10 children x 2
Emmanuel Bus One: 24 Passengers, no booster seats required (EC Driver + Up to 2 YD Educators on board) Max 22 children
Emmanuel Bus Two: 20 Passengers, no booster seats required (EC Driver + Up to 2 YD Educators on board) Max 18 children

Exit the centre
Turn Right onto Birmingham Road
Turn Left into Nerang-Broadbeach Road
Turn Left into Price Street
Turn Left onto White Street
Turn Right…
Destination will be on the right and opposite for return

Emerald Lakes Putt-Putt

Walking, Approx. 10 minutes each way
Depart Emmanuel College: 9:30am, Arrive at destination 9:45am
Leave destination: 11am, Arrive at Emmanuel College 11:15am

Route:

Exit the centre
Either: walk through the car park or across the school oval to Josiah
Either: walk along Birmingham Road footpath or cross the road at the roundabout on Emerald Lakes Drive
Either: Cross the road at the lights or follow the footpath on the northern side of Emerald Lakes Drive and walk under Birmingham Drive in the underpass
Walk along ‘The Range Drive’ footpath
Destination will be on the right and opposite for return

Go Bowling Ashmore

Approx. 15 minutes each way
Depart Emmanuel College: 10:20am, Arrive at destination 10:35am
Leave destination: 12:00pm, Arrive at Emmanuel College 12:15pm

Route:

Exit the centre
Turn Right onto Birmingham Road
Go straight onto Ross Street
Go straight onto Currumburra Road
Turn Right onto Corporation Drive
Turn Right onto Dominions Drive
Destination will be at the end of Dominions Drive straight ahead
Opposite for return except exit Bowling carpark directly onto Currumburra Road by turning left
