YOUNG DISCOVERERS: COMMUNITY AND CONNECTION

Here at Young Discoverers, we offer more than just childcare — we also serve our community in partnership with Crosslife – A Baptist Church; walking arm in arm together, to create a safe and nurturing environment for our parents, children and families.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP

As part of this community partnership with Crosslife – A Baptist Church, we are proud to support their ‘Heart For Southport’ Op Shop, which is a new venture (and adventure), being run out of Crosslife Southport.

The ‘Heart for Southport’ Op Shop is not just about second-hand items for sale — it is a practical ministry offering dignity, affordable clothing, and a gateway to meaningful support for people facing hardship. The volunteer team here are very excited about building relationships and using the sale proceeds to help fund the FREE community services that Crosslife Southport offers, such as Financial Coach, Food Pantry and Community Meals.
